Tannenbaum Helpern to Hold Fifth Annual Alternative Investments Outlook

11.12.2019  •  Press Release

For the fifth consecutive year, Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt LLP will team up with Bloomberg LP for their Annual Alternative Investments outlook event. Alternative Investments 2020 will take place on November 19th at The Yale Club. This year’s event will examine the regulatory issues and macroeconomic conditions, including international trade, Brexit, social unrest and climate change that are affecting the industry and how they are shaping investors’ expectations and managers’ investment strategies.

Moderating the panel discussion will be Bloomberg’s Chuan Shi, Quantitative Solution Specialist and Deputy Team Leader. This year’s panelists will be: Tannenbaum Helpern Tax Partner Michele Itri; Clearbrook Global Advisors’ Chief Investment Officer, Timothy Ng; Bloomberg’s Senior U.S. Economist, Yelena Shulyatyeva; and Chairman of the Investment Committee of Teachers College of Columbia University and Co-Founder of E Street Management LLC, Bruce G. Wilcox.

“Market unpredictability continues to plague the investment management industry,” says Wayne H. Davis, Co-chair of Tannenbaum Helpern’s Investment Management practice. “We are looking forward to this year’s event, with an extremely qualified panel to address current macroeconomics factors and regulations and how they are impacting asset allocation strategies.” Davis added.

Attendance at the annual closed-door event is limited to fund managers and allocators to alternative investments. For more information regarding the event, please email events@thsh.com.
