New York, NY — Tannenbaum Helpern is proud to announce that for the second consecutive year, its Franchise Law department received Tier 1 ranking. It ranked Tier 1 at the national level and in the New York Metropolitan Area.

Tannenbaum Helpern's Franchise Law, Distribution and E-Commerce practice has decades of experience in the global distribution of goods and services, including franchise programs and systems, non-franchise distribution networks, beverage distribution, joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, licensing, e-commerce and franchisor-franchisee and supplier-distributor disputes. Practice co-chairs Joel A. Klarreich and Andre R. Jaglom bring over 60 years of combined experience in the franchising and distribution space.

Tier 1 ranking is determined by quantitative and qualitative data that includes client feedback and peer reviews. Firms included in the 2015 U.S. News – Best Lawyers "Best Law Firms" list are recognized for their professional excellence with persistently impressive ratings from clients and peers. Firms are evaluated on the following criteria: responsiveness, understanding of a business and its needs, cost-effectiveness, integrity and civility, as well as whether they would refer a matter to the firm and/or consider the firm a worthy competitor. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer listed in The Best Lawyers in America, which recognizes the top four percent of practicing attorneys in the US. In 2015, over 17,000 attorneys provided nearly 600,000 law firm assessments and roughly 7,500 clients provided more than 40,000 evaluations.

In September 2014, four Tannenbaum Helpern attorneys were named to the 2015 Best Lawyers in America list.
