New York, NY — Super Lawyers acknowledges 27 Tannenbaum Helpern attorneys in its 2015 New York Metro Super Lawyers list, including eight Rising Stars and three in the Top 100 Super Lawyers in New York Metro. In a metropolis like New York where there are thousands of legal professionals, having three attorneys included in the top 100 and a total of 27 attorneys selected speaks to the talent, reputation and professionalism of the firm's attorneys. Commercial litigators, Paul D. Sarkozi and Vincent J. Syracuse, partners in the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice with over six decades of experience combined, have been selected to the Top 100 Super Lawyers list for four and three consecutive years, respectively. Joining Sarkozi and Syracuse in the top list is Kenneth M. Block, Chair of Tannenbaum Helpern's Construction Law Group.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service identifying outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Each year no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to the Super Lawyers list and no more than two and half percent to the Rising Star list. To be selected as a Super Lawyer, attorneys are evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, including verdicts, settlements and transactions, experience, representative clients, position within the law firm, writings, and bar and community activities. Rising Star status is earned by up-and-coming attorneys who are no older than 40 or have been in practice for 10 or fewer years.
