Assessing the Default and Termination of a Construction Manager

On April 17, 2024 from 12-1pm, Tannenbaum Helpern Construction & Design members, Kenneth Block and Hillel Sussman, will be presenting a webinar on construction manager defaults and termination.

Program Description: Defaulting a construction manager is a drastic remedy which should be used only in the event the problems on a project are insurmountable. This program will examine the circumstances in which the remedy may be advisable and detail the steps an owner should consider before and after taking action. Topics will include:

  • Reasons for the default of a CM
  • Steps which may be taken to avoid default
  • Assessing the advisability of the remedy
  • Effectuating the termination

This event has been approved for 1.0 New York State CLE credits in the category of Areas of Professional Practice. The credits are both transitional and non-transitional; this program is suitable for both experienced and newly admitted attorneys. There is no fee to attend this program.
