Michael G. Tannenbaum, investment fund attorney and founding partner of Tannenbaum Helpern,
was honored for his support and dedication to the cause and mission of
Help For Children over the years. Help For Children, founded in 1998 as Hedge Funds Care,
is a global foundation supported by the alternative asset management sector.
Its sole mission is to support efforts to prevent and treat child abuse.
Help For Children raises money and awards grants in 12 major cities in
the United States, Asia, Canada, the Cayman Islands, Ireland and the United
Kingdom. Since its inception, Help For Children has given over $44 million
in grants – positively impacting 87,000 lives on an annual basis.
Tannenbaum is on the Global Board of Directors for Help For Children. He
is also a member of the organization’s Grants Committee in New York
as well as the Committee that shapes the direction of the annual golf
and tennis tournament fundraising event.
