Resources for businesses and HR regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)

As the situation regarding the novel coronavirus disease known as COVID-19 or “Coronavirus” is constantly evolving, it is imperative that employers stay up-to-date with the most current information. Accordingly, we have compiled a list of resources to ensure that employers are equipped with the latest advice as the situation continues to develop.

  • The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has published interim guidance for businesses and employers based on what is currently known about Coronavirus, as well as interim cleaning and disinfection recommendations for community, non-healthcare facilities, such as offices.
  • The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has created a webpage dedicated to providing important health information for workers and employers in connection with the Coronavirus outbreak.
  • The New York State Department of Health continues to update its website with information concerning the number of positive cases of Coronavirus in New York State. It has also established a Novel Coronavirus Hotline (1-888-364-3065) for information about Coronavirus.
  • The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene has published FAQs for businesses and employers concerning Coronavirus.
