Tannenbaum Helpern's Klarreich And Singer To Lead Interactive Workshop On 'Social Media In The Workplace' At Staffing World 2012

09.05.2012  •  Press Release

New York, NY -- As recruiters increasingly turn to social media platforms to recruit candidates, source jobs and connect with clients, they are exposing themselves and the agencies that employ them to substantial legal compliance issues and legal risks. At the American Staffing Association's 2012 Staffing World convention and expo in October, Joel A. Klarreich, Chair of Tannenbaum Helpern's Staffing Industry Practice, and Andrew W. Singer, Chair of Tannenbaum Helpern's Employment Law Practice, teamed up to lead an interactive workshop on how staffing firms can best recognize and address the legal risks associated with social media use. Their workshop entitled "Social Media in the Workplace: Best Practices to Avoid Liability" was held on October 10, 2012 from 3:45pm to 5:00pm.

Staffing World is the industry's largest, most comprehensive convention and expo. Each year, thousands of staffing professionals, leaders and innovators convene at Staffing World to share cutting-edge strategies, exchange information about best practices, and explore the latest products to help their companies leverage their strengths.
