34 Tannenbaum Helpern Attorneys Have Been Selected To The 2014 New York Metro Super Lawyers List, Including Two Commercial Litigators In The Top 100 Super Lawyers List

New York, NY — Super Lawyers acknowledges 34 Tannenbaum Helpern attorneys in its 2014 New York Metro Super Lawyerslist, including 13 Rising Stars and two of the firm's commercial litigators in its Top 100 Super Lawyers in New York Metro. Paul D. Sarkozi, a partner in the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice, has been selected to the top 100 for three consecutive years, Vincent J. Syracuse, Chair of the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice and a skilled commercial litigator with over four decades of experience has been selected for two consecutive years.
Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.
Each year no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to the Super Lawyers list and no more than two and half percent to the Rising Star list. To be selected as a Super Lawyer, attorneys are evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, including verdicts, settlements and transactions, experience, representative clients, position within the law firm, writings, and bar and community activities. Rising Star status is earned by up-and-coming attorneys who are no older than 40 or have been in practice for 10 or fewer years.
