New York, NY — Tannenbaum Helpern is proud to announce that 28 of the firm’s attorneys were selected for inclusion in the 2016 New York Metro Super Lawyers list, including nine Rising Stars and two in the Top 100 New York Metro Super Lawyers. With no more than five percent of the lawyers in a state recognized in the Super Lawyers list and no more than two and half percent to the Rising Stars list each year, having 28 attorneys selected to the 2016 list and two to the Top 100 speaks to the talent and reputation of Tannenbaum Helpern attorneys.

Commercial litigator Paul D. Sarkozi, co-chair of Tannenbaum Helpern’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice, has been selected to the Top 100 New York Metro Super Lawyers list for five consecutive years. Making the Top 100 list for the second year is construction attorney Kenneth M. Block, chair of Tannenbaum Helpern’s Construction Law Group.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service identifying outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. To be selected as a Super Lawyer, attorneys are evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, including verdicts, settlements and transactions, experience, representative clients, position within the law firm, writings, and bar and community activities. Rising Star status is earned by up-and-coming attorneys who are no older than 40 or have been in practice for 10 or fewer years.
