New York, NY— Tannenbaum Helpern is pleased to announce that 26 of the firm’s attorneys were selected for inclusion in the 2018 New York Metro Super Lawyers list. With no more than five percent of the lawyers in a state recognized in the annual Super Lawyers list and no more than two and a half percent to the Rising Stars list, this speaks to the talent and reputation of Tannenbaum Helpern attorneys.

Special congratulations to Tannenbaum Helpern’s commercial litigator Paul D. Sarkozi, co-chair of Tannenbaum Helpern’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice, who has been selected to the Top 100 New York Metro Super Lawyers list for seven consecutive years.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service identifying outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a patented multiphase selection process that includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. To be selected as a Super Lawyer, attorneys are evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, including verdicts, settlements and transactions, experience, representative clients, position within the law firm, writings, and bar and community activities. Rising Star status is earned by up-and-coming attorneys who are no older than 40 or have been in practice for 10 or fewer years. Selections are made on an annual, state by state basis.
