Tannenbaum Helpern's Financial Services practice, with the support of the Firm's Real Estate and Tax Law practices, represented a sponsor in connection with the structuring and formation of its first private equity fund focusing on U.S. real estate investment opportunities. The fund structure allows it to invest in equity as well debt. The project required the combined skills of investment fund, real estate and tax attorneys as well as attorneys in various jurisdictions in which certain initial underlying portfolio investments are located.
