New York law firm Tannenbaum Helpern celebrates 40 years of representing corporations, private businesses, non-profits, investors and high-net-worth individuals

New York, NY, March 15, 2018—Forty years ago today, the law firm of Tannenbaum Helpern was formed. In its early days, the law firm’s legal offerings were corporate law, financial services regulation, securities law, tax, real estate and litigation and dispute resolution.

Since its formation, Tannenbaum Helpern has grown and evolved to help clients capture opportunities and address legal risks. Today, the law firm is in a unique position as it:

  • maintains its size of 50 plus attorneys, allowing it to uphold a higher level of personalized, quality client service;
  • offers a full suite of legal services and deep industry knowledge;
  • provides bigger law firm experience in an intimate setting with many of the firm’s attorneys having worked at larger law firms prior to joining Tannenbaum Helpern (see attorney profiles); and
  • offers innovative legal solutions to business challenges (see case studies).

“As we celebrate the firm’s 40th, we want to sincerely acknowledge and thank our employees, clients, family and friends for their continued support and role in the firm’s success,” said Joel Hirschtritt, the law firm’s co-managing partner.

“We are excited for the future,” said Andrew Singer, Tannenbaum Helpern’s co-managing partner and chair of the firm’s Employment Law practice. “Due to the scope and depth of our legal service offerings and industry knowledge, we are able to swiftly adjust to the evolving legal landscape and offer clients advice that not only addresses their legal issues but their business goals as well. In our pursuit to provide the highest level of quality client service, we are constantly exploring and implementing methods and programs to foster ongoing teamwork and collaboration among our attorneys to provide superior client service.”
