We represented parties seeking to unwind a multi-million dollar joint venture to develop numerous commercial and residential properties in St. Maarten, on the basis that counsel to the joint venture had breached his fiduciary duties and committed fraud, among other things. After an eight-day trial in the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Justice Charles Ramos issued a judgment granting our clients’ claim for full rescission, dismissing all claims against our clients, and finding that the joint venture counsel had, in fact, breached his fiduciary duties and committed fraud.
