Jing Jin

Bio

Jing Jin is an associate in the firm’s real estate, construction and environmental law practice, where she advises clients on a wide variety of complex, multi-jurisdictional real estate transactions involving multifamily apartment buildings, student housing, retail centers, office, and mixed-use properties across various stages of the real estate life cycle, including sales and acquisitions, leasing, and financing. Jing also drafts, reviews, and negotiates a wide range of construction and professional contracts for owners and developers, including Vornado Realty Trust, Jack Resnick & Sons, Inc., Time Equities, Inc., Trinity Church Real Estate, AvalonBay Communities, Rockrose Development Corp., Starrett Development Corp., Sterling Equities, The World Wide Group, Friends Seminary, and the New York Public Library. Jing is currently representing Seritage Growth Properties in connection with the redevelopment of its portfolio of Sears and K-Mart branded stores throughout the United States and Pace University in connection with its master plan for the redevelopment of its downtown campus.

Jing has a strong background in real estate development and acquisitions. She has completed internships with a number of real estate developers and New York City government public benefit entities including the Related Companies, GFI Capital, the New York City Economic Development Corporation, and the New York City Housing Development Corporation. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in the general counsel’s office at an affordable housing not-for-profit to finance rental and for-sale multi-family developments. In addition, she is active with real estate alumni groups of the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School of Business, and serves as a board member of the American Chinese Real Estate Society (ACRES).

Jing is bilingual in Mandarin Chinese.
