Yolanda Kanes has been practicing at Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt LLP since graduating from Fordham University School of Law in 1984.  Her diverse experience extends to Federal and State litigation involving corporate and partnership issues, complex real estate transactions with a particular emphasis on Trusts and Estates litigation.   As an extension of her Trusts and Estates litigation practice, Yolanda has also developed an expertise in advising individuals and families in matters relating to:

  • Estate Planning, Estate and Trust Administration;
  • Pre-nuptial, Post-nuptial and Marital Agreements;
  • Preparation of Wills, Insurance Trusts, Asset Protection Trusts and Qualified Personal Residence Trusts;
  • Adoptions;
  • Judicial proceedings relating to estate probate and administration; and
  • Establishing and advising clients on private foundations and other charitable organizations. 
Yolanda has also handled Family and Trust Arbitrations and has served as an arbitrator.  Yolanda is a member of the New York State Bar Association Trust and Estates Section.
